Job Summary
The Panther Group is seeking a Document Control Associate to manage and maintain manufacturing and customer documentation within a fast-paced production environment. This role supports new product introductions, engineering change orders (ECOs), and ERP system accuracy, ensuring documentation is current, compliant, and production ready.
Key Responsibilities
Create, review, update, and release Bills of Material (BOMs) in the ERP system
Maintain accurate ERP data, including costs, lead times, routings, AVL, lot controls, and planner assignments
Assign and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain ECO records
Upload, link, and manage electronic documentation in document control systems
Perform line-by-line documentation reviews to ensure alignment between ERP data and customer specifications
Create, organize, and distribute product documentation folders
Support new product introduction (NPI) documentation requirements
Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Management Systems
Support site 6S/continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Familiarity with ECO processes, ISO standards, and ESD awareness
Experience working with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic file management
Ability to interpret basic customer documentation
Preferred:
1+ year experience in a manufacturing or production environment Pay $25 - $28 / hour depending on experience
