We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens opportunity near Emory, TX.

Position Highlights Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing, with flexible scheduling Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM, 7 days per week Focus on inpatient care only No outpatient responsibilities Responsibilities: Rounding in the ICU Managing patients pre- and post-cardiac surgery Care for patients coming off ventilators Post-operative management of open-heart, VATS, and lung cases Patient Load: Average of 20?25 patients on the service at any time Facility Details Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center EMR System: Epic Stroke Certification: Yes Support Provided: Collaborative team environment Requirements Licensure: Active Texas license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) Experience: Board certification required; fellowship training preferred Additional Information Credentialing timeframe: 5?7 days Temporary privileges are available for expedited onboarding Lodging and travel recommendations will be provided Insurance covered by the vendor Why This Opportunity?
