Job Description for Assembly/Test Technician

Internship with Full-Time Potential

Teliatry is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Assembly/Test Technician. This position will begin as a full-time internship with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right candidate.

About the Position: We are looking for a dedicated individual eager to learn about medical device manufacturing and development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quick to learn, and able to consistently deliver excellent performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the medical device industry with a clear path to full-time employment.

Requirements

1. Associate's degree in a science or engineering field (preferred)

2. Soldering skills, especially with small-scale 0201 components (preferred)

3. Experience working with quick-drying silicones and epoxies

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

5. Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with hands under a microscope

6. Technical writing experience

7. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

Key Responsibilities

1. Assemble medical-grade implants for humans and animals

2. Clean and inspect parts using optical and digital microscopes

3. Assist with First Article Inspections (FAI) and Incoming Inspections (II)

4. Operate various test and lab equipment (e.g., Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Digital Multimeter, Optical Spectrometer, Vacuum Oven, Digital Force Gauge, Hot/Stir Plates, Sonicator, & 3-D Printer). Training will be provided as needed

5. Document shipping, receiving, purchase requisitions

6. Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation (e.g., work orders, work instructions, non-conformance reports)

7. Manage inventory and part labeling

8. Contribute to maintaining the online Quality Management System (QMS)

9. Assist in equipment calibration and maintenance

10. Work in a cleanroom environment when required

11. Perform light cleaning and restocking of laboratory supplies

Internship to Full-Time Transition: This position will begin as a full-time internship. Based on performance, work ethic, and cultural fit, top-performing interns will be offered the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role with Teliatry.
