Note: Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, up to 40 hours based on production needs. Once hired, contractors must notify the hiring manager directly for any lateness or absence.
Job Overview
This is an entry-level production role involving the operation of insertion and printing equipment used to process customer statements and communications. The ideal candidate is quality-focused, production-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires physical stamina, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively while adhering to safety, quality, and Lean/5S principles.
Key Responsibilities
Operate insertion and printing equipment under supervision while meeting quality and production standards
Perform machine setup checks and inspect materials prior to production
Conduct routine quality inspections for accuracy and integrity
Stand for extended periods and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs as required
Complete logs, paperwork, and daily tasks in compliance with policies and safety regulations
Cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment and reconciliation functions
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments
Demonstrate adherence to Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
Maintain strong punctuality, attendance, and schedule flexibility
Required Qualifications
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to stand for 8 hours per shift
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Basic PC and numeric keyboard skills
Ability to read, understand, and follow English-language instructions
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and customer data privacy awareness
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of production-related experience
Prior experience operating insertion and/or printing equipment
