We're seeking a talented Project Engineer to support a major construction project in the Washington, D.C.

area.

What You'll Do As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring every aspect of the project runs smoothly-from technical planning and documentation to problem-solving in the field.

You'll work closely with superintendents, craft teams, and clients to deliver safe, high-quality, on-time results.

Your responsibilities will include: * Interpreting design plans and specifications for construction teams.

* Identifying and resolving design discrepancies, interferences, or field challenges.

* Preparing and maintaining project documentation-status reports, submittals, sketches, punch lists, and more.

* Monitoring budgets, costs, and schedules to support project profitability.

* Assisting in the preparation of field design changes and "as-built" drawings.

* Supporting project safety programs and ensuring compliance with company standards.

* Providing mentorship or training to junior team members.

What We're Looking For * Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Experience: Five (5) to eight (8) years of previous construction, design, or project management experience in heavy civil or highway work preferred.

* Skills: * Strong technical and analytical abilities.

* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

* Business-minded approach with attention to detail and cost control.

* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
