Surgery Assistant / Registered Nurse

Oral & Cosmetic Surgery Clinic

Aligned Oral and Facial Surgery is seeking an experienced Surgery Assistant or Registered Nurse to join our busy, patient-focused oral and cosmetic surgery practice.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in IV sedation, chairside surgical assistance, and patient care coordination. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist surgeon during oral and cosmetic surgical procedures

Monitor patients during IV sedation and recovery

Prepare and maintain surgical and anesthesia equipment

Perform pre- and post-operative patient assessments

Coordinate patient care, instructions, and follow-up

Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols

Collaborate with front office and clinical team to optimize patient flow

Qualifications

Oral Surgery Assistant, RN, or equivalent clinical background

IV sedation experience preferred

Knowledge of oral surgery procedures and anesthesia monitoring

Strong patient care and coordination skills

ACLS required

Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
