We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining various types of data in our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, an understanding of databases, and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter and update data into the company’s database or system.
• Verify the accuracy of data before entry and make corrections as needed.
• Perform regular data backups and ensure security of data.
• Maintain and organize paper documents and files for easy retrieval.
• Generate reports and analyze data when necessary.
• Communicate with team members to ensure data integrity and completeness.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Ensure data is entered into the system on time and within deadlines.
Skills & Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role.
• Strong typing skills (minimum 40-60 words per minute).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and data management software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range:
• Entry Level: $13 - $18 per hour
• Mid-Level: $18 - $25 per hour
• Experienced: $25 - $35 per hour
