We are currently looking for a General Surgeon to join our team near Dutton, VA.

Shift Details: Shift Type: 24-Hour Estimated Shifts: 5-24 hour shifts per month, spanning 5 consecutive days Weekend Requirements: Yes On-Call Requirements: N/A Coverage Details: Coverage starts on May 1st, with 5-24 hour shifts per month.

Job Details: Reason for Coverage: Shortage Practice Setting: Hospital-based with 4 hours of clinical work Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: Based on patients coming into the ER Trauma Level/Designation: III Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Number of Operating Rooms: 9 Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 4 Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric Required Procedures: General Surgical Cases (ADULT & TRAUMA) Laser Certification Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures Central Line Insertion PA Catheter Placement Ventilation Management Chest Tube Insertion Aneurysm repairs Abdominal, Peripheral, Vascular Access Devices AV Shunt Cholecystectomy Nissen Fundoplication Hernioplasty Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy & Colonoscopy Travel Reimbursement: The facility will reimburse for Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, and Mileage billed at the IRS Standard Rate.
