Full Time Trauma/Critical Care General Surgeon needed in Texas!

Approximately 2 hours from Talpa!

We are seeking dedicated General Surgeon to contribute to our trauma and acute care surgery program at a premier Level III trauma center.

This opportunity offers a balanced work-life schedule, allowing you to plan your work around your life by working 14 days per month.

Key Responsibilities: Work a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule with 24-hour shifts.

Operate within a two-surgeon model supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APP). Provide 12 hours of primary call followed by 12 hours of backup call, with no in-house requirement during backup call hours.

Conduct evaluations for all trauma and emergency general surgery consultations.

Round on in-house patients and conduct outpatient follow-ups in the clinic.

Qualifications: Fellowship trained in surgical critical care or trauma.

Board certified MD or DO.

Active or in-process medical license in Texas.

Willingness to relocate to the Abilene area.
