Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) / Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Remote

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports to: CEO

The Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) / Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Zahela, you will be the frontline of our sales engine. You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging decision-makers at cybersecurity, robotics, and other technology companies, qualifying their needs, and booking meetings for our senior sales team. This is a foundational role with clear paths for growth into closing or leadership positions for top performers.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting: Research and identify key contacts

Outbound Outreach: Execute multi-channel outreach sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone) to generate interest and book qualified meetings.

Qualification: Conduct initial discovery conversations to assess fit using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing).

CRM Management: Log all activities, updates, and prospect information accurately.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and account teams to align outreach with campaigns and client success stories.

Industry Learning: Stay updated on trends in cybersecurity, robotics, and B2B marketing to speak credibly with prospects.

What We’re Looking For

Fluent English is mandatory: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior B2B audiences.

B2B Mindset: Understanding of or strong interest in B2B sales and marketing dynamics.

Hunter Mentality: Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to exceed monthly meeting targets.

Tech Curiosity: Interest in learning about cybersecurity, robotics, and emerging tech—no expert knowledge required, just enthusiasm.

Coachability: Eagerness to learn our process, accept feedback, and grow your sales skills.

Basic Tech Comfort: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or outreach platforms is a plus.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

6+ months of experience in outbound sales, BDR/SDR, or lead generation.

Previous exposure to cybersecurity, robotics, or SaaS industries.

Experience with sales tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, or ZoomInfo.

Competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure. This means annual salary is between CAD 7,200 & 12,000.
