Position: Account Executive (Electric Powertrain Industry)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 8 am to 5 pm US Eastern Time
Salary Range: USD 1800 to 2500 per month, depending on experience
Location: Remote
Primary Objective:The Account Executive is a highly motivated sales professional responsible for driving growth in commercial EV business. This role identifies high-potential fleet opportunities, breaks into new accounts, and turns prospects into long-term customers. The Account Manager works directly with fleets to understand their operations, solve challenges, and guide them through the transition to electric.
This position requires consistently exceeding targets, overcoming objections, and winning competitive deals while representing an industry-leading product. The Account Executive uses creativity, persistence, and market knowledge to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals that expand Xos’ footprint in the commercial EV space.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, research, and pursue fleet prospects.
Break into new accounts through targeted outreach, networking, industry events, and referrals.
Develop and manage relationships with fleet operators from initial contact through contract close, vehicle build, and delivery.
Take a consultative sales approach by actively listening, understanding operational needs, and proposing tailored vehicle solutions.
Consistently meet or exceed established sales quotas, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Maintain accurate and timely sales activity tracking, pipeline management, and reporting in the CRM (HubSpot)
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and leadership to ensure technical alignment and seamless delivery.
Anticipate and address customer objections, finding solutions to advance deals.
Stay current on EV market trends, competitor activity, and customer challenges.
Provide market insights and feedback to help shape product offerings.
Travel to customer sites as needed for meetings, demonstrations, and relationship management, based on the requirements of assigned accounts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Proven B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in transportation, commercial vehicles, or industrial products
Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities at various stages of the pipeline
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) and Google Suite.
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience selling to commercial fleets preferred but not required
Familiarity with RFP processes and fleet procurement cycles is a plus.
Understanding of EV technology and fleet electrification is a plus
