MPL (Material Planning, Purchasing & Logistics) ERP Specialist

Job Description:

POSCO AAPC is seeking a motivated Material Planning, Purchasing & Logistics (MPL) ERP Specialist to support manufacturing operations through effective material planning, procurement, inventory control, and ERP system management. This role works closely with production, sales, and engineering teams to ensure accurate material availability, cost efficiency, and smooth supply chain operations.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and demand trends

- Coordinate with production and sales teams to ensure timely material availability

- Manage inventory accuracy and material records within the ERP system (POSPIA)

- Verify Bills of Materials (BoMs) and support production order execution

- Process purchase orders and manage procurement from requisition to delivery

- Monitor customer production schedules and respond to changes or disruptions

- Support warehouse, inbound, and outbound logistics activities

- Maintain accurate master data, supplier information, and inventory records in ERP

- Assist in cost optimization and continuous improvement of material and logistics processes

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

- Professionals with 2 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, logistics, or ERP-related roles

- Basic understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred:

- Experience with ERP systems (POSPIA, SAP, or equivalent)

- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
