Job Title Security Position Reports to Security Supervisor Assistant Resort Manager and Resort Manager Pay Range 18 21 per hour depending on experience Desired Start Date May Position End Date November 1st Job Summary Security patrols the Resort during shift by walking through buildings pools bathrooms and parking areas They also patrol through the RV Park and Wilderness areas They report any unusual occurrences in writing They check all vacant rooms all building doors and gates are locked and secured Security makes sure pools are covered filled with water and locked Assists guests after hours issues warnings and fines to members who are in non compliance Essential Duties and Responsibilities Report to work according to the schedule and are ready to work on arrival Must be in uniform with security phone and radioPerform all duties listed on the Post OrdersParticipate in all required health and safety meetingsAlways conduct themselves in a professional mannerBe Present and on timeHelp guests with requests and after hour check insKnow power outage procedures and perform themPerform any other various duties that may be assigned by the manager Personal Characteristics High energy level comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities Must be well organized and advocate team support Ability to get along with diverse personalities Be tactful mature and responsible Have ability to professionally deal with staff owners guests board members and the public Can handle confrontation appropriately and in accordance with Resorts standards Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk around 3 8 miles per shift use hands talk hear and smell The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms The employee is occasionally required to sit stoop kneel crouch or crawl Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus The employee is required to lift at least 50 pounds Qualifications High School Education or the equivalentFluency in written and verbal EnglishAbility to work industriously and independently at night during slow Resort usage periodsAbility to work well with guests and fellow employeesAbility to drive Security vehiclegolf cart valid drivers license
