Job Description

The Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide care to patients with intermediate care acuity. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

Monitor patient conditions and interpret telemetry strips.

Titrate medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro.

Collaborate with Hospitalists and Intensivists for comprehensive patient care.

Manage and assist with the care of patients undergoing various procedures.

Participate in floating to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license in the state.

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Experience in an intermediate care setting is preferred.
