We are looking for a well-organized Site Engineer with strong leadership skills to join our growing team!
Main Responsibilities
Leads the local Site Technicians team and manages site equipment
Supervises on-site civil/electro-mechanical works and measurements
Coordinates external contractors/subcontractors and maintains records of on-site works done by them at the waste management facilities
Monitors the operation and performance of the waste management construction sites, through monitoring systems
Ensures the implementation of the health and safety standards within the relevant facilities and substations, being in close cooperation with the QHSSE Expert
Monitors the spare parts inventory at the local warehouse and is accountable for replenishments and additional orders, as per need
Evaluates the civil studies and drawings of the project
Main Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Master’s degree will be considered an asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles at a construction site
Experience in working on public construction would be considered an asset
Knowledge in using remote monitoring systems
Familiarity with Health & Safety standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal
