Job Description
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Oversight
Manage and continuously improve operational practices across all programs
Oversee day to day operations for internal and external teams
Ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, communication, and documentation processes
Allocate resources, staffing, and materials to meet program and project deadlines
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure organizational operations align with behavioral health standards, including trauma informed care principles
Maintain compliance with JCAHO (Joint Commission) standards, including documentation, safety, quality improvement, and performance metrics
Support and uphold OhioMHAS regulatory requirements, including service delivery, credentialing, reporting, and audit readiness
Assist with policy development, updates, and implementation to meet state and accreditation standards
Data, Reporting & Performance
Track, analyze, and forecast operational trends to support strategic planning
Monitor KPIs, productivity, and service utilization
Prepare operational reports for leadership and regulatory bodies
Human Resources & Policy Management
Formalize and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with HR regulations
Support onboarding, training, and performance monitoring for staff and interns
Promote a positive, ethical, and compliant workplace culture
Cross Functional Collaboration
Work closely with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to ensure seamless operations
Support communication between departments and external partners
Assist with special projects, program development, and organizational growth initiatives
Qualifications
Required
Previous experience in operations management, program coordination, or administrative leadership
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making abilities
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support diverse teams
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Experience in a behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare setting
Familiarity with JCAHO accreditation standards
Knowledge of OhioMHAS rules, documentation requirements, and compliance expectations
Experience developing or implementing policies, workflows, or quality improvement systems
Proficiency with EHR systems, scheduling platforms, and operational software
Other Duties
Allocate resources and materials to meet project deadlines
Track and forecast operational trends and analysis
Provide daily operations oversight for outside teams
Formalize policies and procedures in accordance to HR regulations
