Schedule: Full-time On-site

Salary: $140,000–$160,000

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Network Engineer I to support infrastructure sustainment and network operations for high-performance computing (HPC) environments across multiple secure sites. The role supports enterprise security boundaries, data center virtualization, and classified network operations.

Key Responsibilities

Support LAN/CAN/MAN network infrastructure and enterprise security architecture

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs

Maintain TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching, and L2/L3 network controls

Support stateful firewalls, access controls, and packet capture solutions

Provide Tier 1 network support and participate in on-call rotations

Track and resolve tasks using Remedy or ticketing systems

Support virtualization platforms including VMware and Solaris containers

Qualifications & Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (poly within last 7 years)

3+ years network engineering experience (5 years in lieu of degree acceptable)

Data center network design and architecture experience

Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, TACACS+, VPN/IPSEC experience

DoD 8570 IAT II certification required
