Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and installations adhere to national building codes (NEC/NFPA 70, ADA, ICC) and specific rail safety regulations.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in physical and electronic security system design for commercial, industrial, or transportation sectors.
Certifications (Required): Must hold a current PSP (Physical Security Professional) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) from ASIS, and a CPD (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) designation.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and financial data for diverse stakeholders.
Education/Code Knowledge: Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70, ADA, and ASCE standards.
Logistics: Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C. (80-90%) with 10-20% field work requiring PPE and adherence to strict safety protocols.
