Position Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to assist with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) alongside our speech-language pathology and clinical teams. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and dedicated to patient safety and comfort. This role is key in helping diagnose swallowing disorders and supporting our mission of improving patients quality of life through collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, position, and image patients undergoing MBSS procedures
Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment safely and effectively
Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and providers during live studies
Ensure image quality and appropriate exposure levels
Record and archive studies according to clinic protocols
Verify patient identity and ensure proper radiation safety measures
Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness
Support patient flow and assist with related diagnostic tasks as needed
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current ARRT (R.T.) certification and Utah state licensure
Fluoroscopy permit or eligibility preferred
BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Prior experience supporting MBSS or fluoroscopic studies preferred
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient service skills
Part-time
