Job Description*:

• We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee quality assurance for Security Master Reference Data systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, hands-on experience with industry-leading tools such as Markit EDM/Golden Source/ Eagle/Asset Control, and a deep understanding of financial reference data workflows. This role requires a proactive leader who can design, implement, and manage robust QA processes to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

#Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA efforts for Security Master Reference Data projects across multiple platforms.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts for data validation and system integration.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data stewards to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reference data.

• Perform SQL-based data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting for complex datasets.

• Drive automation initiatives for regression and functional testing using appropriate tools and frameworks.

• Ensure compliance with data governance, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.

• Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.

• Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis

#Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in QA within financial services, with a focus on Security Master Reference Data.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.

• Hands-on experience with Markit EDM/ Golden Source/ Eagle/ Asset Control (or similar reference data management tools).

• Solid understanding of financial instruments, market data, and reference data workflows.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead and manage QA teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling, and data governance principles.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and APIs.

• ISTQB or similar QA certification.
