Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and Science or a related field such as Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent WERI seeks an early- to mid-career waste management specialist with interest and experience in waste management as it relates to water pollution and water resource protection. The candidate should be interested in mastering waste management issues in the region and making a long-term commitment to WERI and the University of Guam. Must be willing to teach online.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate’s training and interests should encompass the broader aspects of waste management and pollutant control. Professional licenses, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license, are also preferred. Experience working and teaching in online learning programs.
