Medical Assistant – MA

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to support doctors and nurses with both clinical and administrative tasks.

Minimum Requirements"

- 24 months of recent Medical Assistant experience (within the last 3 years).

- Valid MA Certificate approved by the California Medical Board (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or NCCT).

- Current BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross – with AED).

Job Duties:

- Assist providers during exams and treatments.

- Give medications, injections, skin tests, and breathing treatments.

- Collect and label blood/lab samples correctly.

- Take vital signs and perform basic vision tests.

- Remove sutures, casts, and dressings; help with mobility devices.

- Document patient history, vitals, and test results.

- Keep the clinic clean, safe, and follow universal precautions.

- Make patients comfortable and communicate clearly.

- Help with scheduling, inventory, and supplies.

- Report any symptoms, behavior, or security concerns.
