Mechanical Shift Engineer : Moorgate : GBP 53,000 Location:Moorgate, City of London Salary: GBP 48,000 + GBP 5,000 shift allowance Shift Pattern:Continental Shift Days and nights (4 on 4 off, 6 on 6 off) About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a leading FM Service Provider at a prestigious banking contract located in the heart of the City of London.

As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the day:to:day operation and maintenance of mechanical services, ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

You will work alongside a dedicated maintenance team and be involved in both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the building.

: Respond to emergency callouts in line with KPIs and SLAs.

: Maintain mechanical equipment and services to ensure smooth operation.

: Carry out plumbing, pipework repairs, and minor fabric work when required.

: Manage procurement of materials and equipment to complete maintenance tasks.

: Supervise subcontractors when necessary.

: Assist the Lead Engineer and Account Manager in meeting all statutory and legislative requirements.

: Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and operational KPIs.
