Fullstack Developer

Piper Companies is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join a government contractor in Fort Meade, MD.

This role requires the candidate to report onsite monthly and have an active Secret Clearance Essential Duties of the Fullstack Developer: * Participate in the full agile application development life cycle for microservice API development using Java Spring Boot in support of a React front-end web application * Work collaboratively as a full stack developer on Agile Scrum teams and complete user stories and develop usable code independently with minimal oversight and guidance * Assist development/test teams in activities in support of acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required * Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders, and demonstrate functionality when complete or requested Qualifications of the Fullstack Developer: * Bachelor's degree preferred and 8+ years of relevant experience with Java/React Development * Experience developing code in microservice-based architectures * 3+ years of Agile experience utilizing DevSecOps & CI/CD pipelines * Familiarity with the DoD STIG process * Active Secret security clearance required Compensation for the Fullstack Developer: * $140,000 - $160,000 (based on experience) * Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 1/5/26.
