Position: Endpoint Engineer Job Description: Forward Air, Inc.

is seeking an Endpoint Engineer who is responsible for developing, deploying, testing, and supporting all user endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, and cell phones.

The Endpoint Engineer is also responsible for working tier 3 escalated issues, assisting other teams in the IT department with projects, and being the on-site face of IT for their location.

Core Responsibilities & Duties: Manage hardware imaging and deployment via Microsoft IntuneOversee the deployment of security patches for operating systems and desktop applicationsProvide tier three support across the enterprise for all software, hardware, and networking related issuesEnsure all client requests and operational problems are updated/resolved within a timely mannerIn office support as well as remote support for locations without IT on siteAssist other IT teams with testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of new software/hardwareUtilize various Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Intune, ExchangeSupport Cisco conference room kitsTake part in a monthly on-call rotationMaintain accurate hardware inventorySupport all printers including laser and thermalAssist with maintaining internal knowledgebase and training of Service DeskOther duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of equivalent work experienceMinimum six year(s) of experience managing and supporting Windows desktop OS and managed endpoint administration at scale across an enterprise sized environmentExperience managing desktop environments using Microsoft technologies for user and computer management, software updates, application installations and environment monitoringPassionate about delivering exceptional client experience and tier three supportAble to work independently in a fast-paced environment with ability to change priorities on the flyAdheres to department and IT protocols, procedures, and service level agreementsExperience working with RMM toolsExperience working in ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNowStrong diagnostic and root cause analysis skillsMicrosoft Intune expertise: Deep understanding of mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), and endpoint security.Azure Active Directory (Entra ID): Experience with identity and access management, conditional access policies, and integration with Intune.Microsoft 365 Suite: Familiarity with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.Windows Autopilot: Knowledge of automated device provisioning and endpoint configuration.PowerShell scripting: Ability to automate tasks and manage configurations.Security & Compliance: Implementing data protection, threat detection, and regulatory compliance Skills:Microsoft IntuneMicrosoft 365 AdminExperience with troubleshooting thermal printersGood time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesGood analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectivesExceptional written and oral communication skillsAbility to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end usersKeen attention to detailProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExceptional customer service orientationExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Forward Air is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
