Function: AI Infra & Facilities

Location: Jamnagar

Purpose of the Role

To manage and oversee all project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities for the AI/Data Center project, ensuring the timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery of infrastructure programs. The Manager – Planning is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, analyzing risks, and implementing mitigation strategies. This role provides management-level leadership and coordination across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring seamless alignment of project timelines with civil, electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure delivery critical to AI/Data Center operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage project schedules for all disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure), ensuring alignment with milestones and critical path activities.

2. Coordinate across teams including project managers, design, construction, and vendors to integrate schedules and track dependencies.

3. Monitor overall project progress, update timelines, and escalate potential delays or risks to senior leadership.

4. Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and KPIs for stakeholders, highlighting schedule performance, critical issues, and mitigation plans.

5. Lead resource planning, ensuring appropriate allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet schedule targets.

6. Oversee schedule risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies for project delays.

7. Implement and standardize best practices and tools for project planning and scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).

8. Facilitate planning workshops and coordination meetings, ensuring cross-functional alignment and timely decision-making.

9. Ensure all planning activities comply with corporate governance, contractual obligations, and data center standards.
