Who we Are:
Do What You Love - Love What You Do. Founded in 2004, Nurtur Aveda is a community of professionals dedicated to environmental responsibility and developing future leaders in the world of beauty and wellness.
Responsibilities:
Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors
Abide by all other Nurtur policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Code of Conduct
Conduct individual and group sessions with students to explore and articulate their dreams, aspirations, and career objectives
Guide students in setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals to ensure clear steps towards their dreams
Teach conflict resolution and stress management techniques to help students handle challenging situations effectively
Monitor and track students' progress towards their goals, providing feedback and adjustments to their plans as needed
Develop and maintain resources, workshops, and materials relevant to the Dream Studio curriculum
Partner with the Student Success Team Lead to plan and facilitate doppler design meetings (Dream Studio)
Partner with the Student Success team to ensure the institute remains in compliance with NACCAS, State Board, and other regulating agencies
Consistently maintain communication with Education Manager regarding goals, challenges, and student performance
Ensure all students have meetings scheduled for the respective stages of each program and track those meetings
Ensure all students complete graduation paperwork and exit counseling and work to place them at the last meeting before graduation
Actively cultivate and foster collaborative relationships with institute leadership, departments, and the support center
Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma and certificate from school of Cosmetology
Licensed Cosmetologist/Esthetician for a minimum of 4 years
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; articulate in English and polished phone etiquette
Strong working knowledge of G-Suites, Google Classroom, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to handle multiple tasks with exhibited follow-through
Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Demonstrated ability to work under strict deadlines
Must be interested in the growth and conduct of a socially responsible business
Strong commitment to support Company mission and values
Ability to make and implement decisions
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Eagerness to learn and grow in position Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Walk, stand up, and/or sit for up to eight (8) hours per day
Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms
Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear
See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents
Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds

Travel Requirements:
The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training and events as necessary.
