Dedicated USPS round-trip lanes
Weekly Schedule: 6 loads a week, so 1 day off a week
Schedule: 4 weeks on, 1 week off
Consistent miles & stable freight year-round

USPS contracts = reliable, government-backed freight
Round-trip lanes = less stress and fewer delays
Only 1 Available route so far = Akron, OH heading to Springfield, MA = 571 miles then Springfield, MA heading to Warrendale, PA = 537 miles Dead head for Pick Up from Akron, OH = 117 miles Total Back Haul = 654 miles Total 1 Round Trip 571 + 654 =1,225 miles. This takes 2 days, so multiply 1,225 miles x 3 days = 3675 miles for both drivers. $3,200/3675 miles = $0.87 per mile.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate a dry van, it is a USPS load, so very light. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive a dry van for USPS load.
Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate logistics.
Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks while on the road or at loading docks.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
Experience of at least 1 year.
Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety regulations and compliance.
Must have a clean driving record with no major violations.
