As a Business Analyst / Associate at Weitron, you have the full autonomy to drive changes and create opportunities. Our industry dynamic is shaped by complex governmental regulations, environmental impacts, and fast-changing consumer behaviors. This position will work directly with the senior management team to create opportunities and values in this fast-paced environment. Your role will be leading the research, staying up to date with the market trends, and synthesizing complex information into clear takeaways for our management team and customers. You will be challenged to continuously improve your business analyst toolkit, including your analytical skills, presentation skills, and communication skills. An ideal candidate should be comfortable with solving complicated problems in ever-changing situations.
Responsibilities
Conduct market and field research on industry regulations and market dynamics
Develop and maintain dashboards (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) to track industry and company metrics (e.g., pricing, supply, and demand)
Build in-house digital products to support overall business operations
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and gaps in current business operations
Prepare documents (e.g., PowerPoint) and synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, customers, and colleagues
Minimum Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Comfortable with data analytics and engineering tools (e.g., Excel, Python, SQL)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and drive an independent workstream
Comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualification
MBA or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience in chemical manufacturing industry
Excellent communication and data analytics skills with ability to successfully work across multiple levels of the organization
