MEP Design Engineer (Plumbing & Fire Fighting)

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in MEP Design

• Job Location: Andheri (5 minutes walkable from WEH Metro Station / 2 km from Andheri Station)

Responsibilities

• Handle tender-related activities for water distribution, drainage and firefighting systems

• Plan and design internal and external plumbing systems for industrial and commercial buildings

• Prepare detailed scopes of work for external consultants, contractors, and site teams

• Review and validate designs submitted by consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements

• Coordinate effectively with site teams, consultants, and other internal departments

• Ensure timely completion of projects within stipulated timelines while maintaining cost efficiency

What are we looking for?

• Should have thorough knowledge of water supply and drainage systems for high-rise buildings, as well as commercial and industrial projects

• Strong expertise in infrastructure - external drainage, water supply systems, fire fighting system - hydrant and sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings

• Knowledge of tendering, costing, budgeting, and estimation will be an added advantage.

• Possess working knowledge of relevant Indian Standards, codes, and statutory requirements.

• Basic Working knowledge of STP and ETP

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant design software
