District 87 is home to one high school, one junior high, six elementary schools, and one early childhood school.

Substitute Nurses in District 87 are compensated in the following manner: Substitute Nurse (LPN, No ISBE license) $160.00 per day no benefits time worked up to a half day or less will be paid at $80/day time worked beyond a half day will be paid at $160/day Substitute Nurse (RN, No ISBE license) $185.00 per day no benefits time worked up to a half day or less will be paid at $92.50/day time worked beyond a half day will be paid at $185/day Substitute Nurse (with ISBE license) $215.00 no benefits time worked up to a half day or less will be paid at $107.50/day time worked beyond a half day will be paid at $215/day
