The Business Development Representative (BDR) Trainee plays a key role in supporting the company’s growth by identifying and engaging potential customers. This role involves initiating exploratory calls or emails to assess prospect fit, understanding client needs, and positioning the company's products and services effectively. As a BDR Trainee, you will develop a deep understanding of our offerings and learn how to communicate their value to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
*Execute targeted prospecting strategies to initiate first contact with potential customers.
*Identify and assess the needs, challenges, and goals of prospects.
*Gauge prospect interest and determine suitability for our product/service.
*Schedule discovery or sales meetings between qualified prospects and the sales team.
*Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline updates.
*Consistently meet or exceed monthly outreach and lead-generation targets.
Requirements:
*Strong communication skills—excellent phone presence, written communication, and active listening.
*A proactive self-starter with a strong desire to learn, develop, and succeed in a sales environment.
*Confident, enthusiastic, and able to engage effectively with clients.
*Highly proficient in English, both verbal and written.
