Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing â Rubber Products)
A well-established rubber manufacturing company in the Middletown area is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their team on 1st shift. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on inspection work and takes pride in maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards.
Pay Rate: $20 â $22/hour (based on experience)
1st shift, contract to hire
What Youâ ll Do
Perform in-process and final inspections of rubber parts and finished products
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools
Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements
Identify, document, and report defects and nonconforming material
Work closely with production teams to address and resolve quality issues
Complete inspection records and basic quality documentation
Support continuous improvement, safety, and housekeeping standards on the manufacturing floor
What Weâ re Looking For
2+ years of Quality Control or Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience inspecting rubber, plastics, molded, or similar manufactured products preferred
Ability to read and understand specifications, work instructions, or drawings
Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Basic computer skills for documentation
Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with ISO or internal quality systems
Familiarity with defect analysis or root cause identification
Background in rubber manufacturing, molding, or extrusion
