Maintenance Technician Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading producer of insulated glass units located in Fargo, ND. We are seeking candidates for Maintenance Technician roles. Compensation for these contract opportunities starts at $27.00+ per hour, depending on skills/experience and shift.

This company produces premier insulating glass units. Their principal customers are leading manufacturers of residential windows and doors. They maintain a clear vision of designing and fabricating the most advanced residential glass products in the industry. What a Maintenance Technician will do:

Troubleshoot and repair of production equipment, including repairs to highly automated industrial equipment

Perform preventative maintenance on production and assembly equipment

Maintain records by tracking the results of work done on a work order

Communicate in a timely manner when more parts are needed by filling out a purchase requisition for the parts manager

What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:

A two-year degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance-related field

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Must have ability to troubleshoot and repair, as well as have previous experience

Must be able to work overtime as required

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds on a regular basis, with out without reasonable accommodation

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as adhere to random screening

Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical demands test
