Job Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (either a CRNP or PA-C) for the MVP Cancer Action Network (MVP CAN) is a dedicated clinical leader responsible for accelerating diagnostic evaluation, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring rapid, patient-centered navigation for individuals with suspected or newly diagnosed malignancies.
This APP plays a critical role in reducing time-to-diagnosis, improving communication between patients and clinicians, and generating significant downstream clinical and financial impact across the cancer care continuum.
The APP operates at 0.55 clinical FTE (4.5 sessions weekly), including telehealth and in-person patient visits, and is accountable for independent clinical evaluation, care coordination, diagnostic ordering, and timely communication of results.
Essential Responsibilities 1.
Consult Management and Care Navigation: Maintain continuous oversight of all new cancer-related consults and ensure coordinated workups.

Patient Care and Communication: Deliver timely and compassionate patient-centered communication and clinical evaluation.
3.
Follow-Up Management and Results Tracking: Maintain continuity and ensure no diagnostic delays.
4.
Case Closure and Surveillance Management: Ensure appropriate transition after diagnosis, referral, or surveillance completion.
5.
Program Efficiency and Clinical Infrastructure Development: Standardize workflows and optimize program functioning across the MVP CAN service line.
Qualifications Required: 1.
PA or CRNP licensed in Pennsylvania.
2.
Master's degree in Nursing or related clinical discipline.
3.
Minimum 3 years clinical experience in oncology, pulmonary, emergency, or hospital medicine 4.
Demonstrated proficiency in Epic workflows, diagnostic evaluation, and telehealth communication.
Preferred: 1.
Experience in cancer navigation, rapid diagnostic clinics, or subspecialty triage roles.
2.
Familiarity with staging, biopsy pathways, and multidisciplinary cancer care.
