What You'll Do

Customer Service & Rental Coordination

• Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and contractors

• Understand customer equipment needs, provide recommendations, and process rentals from quote to return

• Complete transactions in rental software: create quotes, check availability, open/close contracts, and schedule deliveries or pickups

• Instruct customers on equipment use and ensure safe handling practices

• Support outside sales with quotes, pricing, and documentation

Branch Leadership

• Lead and support staff during your shift, including coaching, assigning tasks, and promoting company policies

• Open and close the store, including security procedures and operational checks

• Help maintain a safe, organized, and customer-friendly environment

• Work with dispatch, delivery drivers, and the shop team to keep rentals on schedule and on time

• Assist with marketing efforts to grow rentals and reach new customers

Operational Excellence

• Ensure accurate paperwork, agreements, and documentation

• Monitor and assist with safety compliance and periodic safety audits

• Identify customer needs and adjust support or solutions accordingly

• Provide input on staff performance and help maintain team morale

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3 years of customer service experience preferred

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff

• Leadership ability with good judgment, decision making, and follow-through

• Mechanical understanding or troubleshooting ability is helpful

• Comfort working in rental software and basic computer programs (Word, Excel, databases)

• Familiarity with local areas, maps, and navigating delivery routes

• Experience with Point of Rental a plus

• Willingness to work weekends as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching

• Able to navigate job sites and follow all safety protocols

Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.
