Description:

This position typically operates Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM.

No call, evenings, or weekends are required.

The physical therapist may work alone if the staff therapist is off.

The role includes providing day-to-day guidance for a team or workgroup.

The position involves planning, organizing, and delivering specialized therapy programs.

The aim is to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.

The physical therapist conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients/residents affected by injury or disease.

The role requires the use of appropriate tools and techniques to administer therapy interventions while following safeguards.

Documentation of clients'/patients'/residents' information for evaluation is essential.

Therapeutic plans must be established and modified as necessary.

Educating clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans, schedules, and self-exercises for home continuation is vital.

Knowledge of appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations is necessary.

The therapist will incorporate current research into daily treatments.

Patients of all ages with various diagnoses and disorders may be treated.

The role involves adhering to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations.

Equipment utilized includes EPIC for charting.

Documentation must meet all regulatory requirements.

The position has floating responsibilities to inpatient and outpatient physical therapy.

The facility includes four outpatient exam rooms and a med-surg unit.

Physical therapy assistants will assist with training.

Clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.

Scrub colors include polo (ceil blue, khaki, gray, chocolate brown) or business casual attire.
