Accounts Payable Specialist

A busy and growing company in Lititz is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This position will handle day-to-day AP processing and general accounting support to help improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This is a direct-hire position with a salary of 45-50k and full benefits including 401k match, health, dental, vision, PTO, etc.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices, check requests, and employee expense reimbursements

Manage credit card charges and ensure accurate expense tracking

Prepare, issue, and monitor check payments; follow up on uncashed or returned checks

Maintain detailed AP records, deposits, and related documentation

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Assist with general accounting functions, such as journal entries and filing

Communicate with vendors regarding payment status or missing documentation

Support process improvement efforts within the AP function Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

Strong accuracy, organization, and follow-through skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to assist where needed
