The Value Stream Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing processes within a specific value stream. This position involves coordinating production activities, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring optimal efficiency and quality across operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in manufacturing systems, supply chain management, and process optimization to drive operational excellence and support company growth.

Duties

Lead and manage production teams to meet manufacturing targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Utilize SAP, ERP systems, and MRP tools to plan, schedule, and monitor production activities effectively.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline processes.

Oversee supply chain analytics and management to ensure timely procurement of materials and efficient inventory control.

Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance departments to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve operational issues.

Develop and execute production planning strategies aligned with business objectives and customer demands.

Drive process improvements through data analysis, root cause analysis, and best practices in operations management.

Manage plant operations by ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation within the value stream team.

Skills

5 to 10 years of supervisory and leadership experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related discipline

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement techniques, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Strong business acumen, cost accounting, budgeting, make/buy analysis experience

Expertise in supply chain analytics, operations management, plant management, and quality control.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent problem-solving skills as well as exceptional communication, presentation and listening skills with an ability coach and be a role model
