Position Summary

The Prep Cook will help set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Youll be behind the scenes making sure everything is fresh, prepped, and ready for our chefs to shine. If you love food, have solid knife skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, this gig is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Execute daily prep tasks from the Kitchen Manager

Wash, chop, and portion ingredients with precision and consistency

Prepare sauces, dressings, garnishes, and mise en place for service

Maintain organized, labeled, and sanitized prep stations

Label, date, and rotate ingredients like a pro

Support the line during service by restocking and prepping as needed

Jump in to help with deliveries, stocking, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly

Always uphold food safety and sanitation standards

Communicate inventory needs and prep levels to leadership

Collaborate with the culinary team to support seasonal menu execution

Qualifications

Previous prep or line cook experience preferred

Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen workflows

Ability to follow recipes and plating guidelines with accuracy

Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

Can follow direction and stay organized under pressure

Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude

ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred

Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and seasonal programming

Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time

Ability to lift 50 poundsAdded Skills
