How you will make an impact:

As a Purchaser, you will deliver and support operational procurement of goods and services for the site, working closely with the site team and counterparts to achieve excellence. You will focus on efficient procurement processes and effective supplier management, ensuring that business needs are met through strategic sourcing and collaboration. Your role will be pivotal in driving competitive commercial terms, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the company’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Lead, negotiate, and deliver the purchase of goods and/or services for the site

Achieve the most competitive and advantageous commercial terms to best meet business objectives

Drive and monitor systematically Suppliers’ performance

Implement effective measures to ensure deliverables vs contractual commitments

Develop new sources of supply and alternative materials by competitively benchmarking to ensure best value to the business

Support the site Procurement Policy and provide guidance and support where required by the HODs and peers

Systematically review business continuity plans for supply of critical goods and services

Assist the Strategic Sourcing Manager with critical suppliers and globally negotiated agreements

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

Diploma level of education

Fluency in English

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Level 3 Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent

Impeccable Employment History

Ability to operate under minimal supervision

Your role is in Malta, Ħal Far. Ħal Far is the largest industrial estate in Malta. It is at the southern extreme of Malta, between the localities of Birżebbuġa, Safi and Żurrieq. Check out what makes Malta a great place to live and work here:

The salary range for this role is €32,000 – €36,000 annually. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
