Deli Manager
Full-time (open availability: morning, evening and weekend shifts)

We are searching for a reliable Deli Manager to join our team. The duties of a Deli Manager include overseeing the kitchen and kitchen staff while also preparing food according to the recipe and health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, preparing orders quickly and other job duties as necessary. The kitchen environment is high energy and fast paced. Your role will require you to prepare orders quickly while following health and safety guidelines.
Job Duties
Follow receipts, including measuring, weighting and mixing ingredients
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
Handle and store ingredients and food
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Rotating stock
Update temp logs for food, refrigeration and freezer.
Communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers.
Very organized and detail oriented.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of federal and state standards and requirements regarding food preparation and storage, sanitation, health, and record-keeping.
Oversee kitchen staff
Placing orders to food vendors
Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work Requirements
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be available days, evenings and weekends.
Stand for long periods of time
Creative and skilled in food preparation
Strong time management skills.
Physically capable of fulfilling all requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Solid and consistent work history.
Leadership experience required
Experience managing a staff
