Summary: The Ocean Planning Outreach Coordinator will lead public engagement and communications efforts to support Delaware's ocean planning initiatives. This position is responsible for collaborating and connecting with partners, stakeholders, and the public, organizing outreach events, and preparing educational and communication materials to share the value of Delaware's marine resources. The Coordinator may assist in the development of a communications plan to inform future community engagement strategies. Additional duties may include assisting with the development, management, and analysis of a public survey focused on ocean planning. Additional work on weekends, evenings and holidays may be scheduled.
