$20 - $30/hr

Reports to:

Facility Manager

Purpose of the Position:

Provide full oversight of the meal/nutrition program of all facilities in the area. The chef will be in control of all dietary requirements of the clients within the facilities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required

• Working knowledge of excel & gmail

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Must be 18 years of age

• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with teens from diverse backgrounds

• Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50lbs

• Able to maintain safety around heat and fire sources

• Able to drive

Duties & Responsibilities

Inventory all food products in each facility

Order appropriate quantities of food items

Keep food preparation areas clean and sanitized per state regulations

Shop for food items at local stores and stock everything appropriately according to state regulations

Monitor cost centers

Be flexible with dietary needs on an individual basis

Maintain organized paperwork and working stations

Follow state health guidelines for food storage, food preparation and sanitation
