ABOUT US:
Tomarco Contractor Specialties, LLP dba ISAT Total Support, is a wholesale distributor in the construction industry with strategic manufacturing partners. Since 1977, ISAT has been a global leader in engineering innovation, fastening systems, seismic bracing, and application-specific construction solutions. We design, manufacture, and distribute non-structural engineering support systems for projects around the world.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and technically driven Senior Design Engineer (P.E. Required) to join our engineering team. This role is central to delivering advanced seismic bracing designs, leading technical coordination, and supporting the development of custom engineering solutions for complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep engineering expertise, the ability to independently manage technically challenging assignments, and a strong commitment to accuracy, communication, and industry-leading performance.
As a senior technical resource within the Capitol Projects Group, you will oversee critical engineering deliverables—including seismic bracing layouts, point load calculations, submittal packages, and 3D modeling coordination—while ensuring all work aligns with ISAT design standards and applicable building codes. You will also mentor junior engineers, support quoting and billing processes, and contribute to improving engineering workflows, tools, and methodologies across the department.
This role requires an engineer with advanced knowledge of seismic design for non-structural components, strong AutoCAD-based skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license are required for this position.
