Overview: As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of the credit union, ensuring that members enjoy a seamless and positive banking experience. This role requires accuracy, excellent interpersonal skills, and a keen understanding of financial services.

Pay rate is $15/hour.

Full time position M-F from 8:30am to 5pm. ** NO SATURDAYS**

Key Responsibilities:

Perform paying and receiving functions for customers, such as cashing checks, taking deposits, withdrawals, mortgage, consumer loans and other payments.

Understand and comply with the related laws and compliance regulations that pertain to teller duties.

Provide a high level of customer service. This includes understanding customer needs, as well as understanding the bank products offered.

Ensure that the assigned cash balances on a daily basis and is kept secure at all times.

Must keep cash drawer within assigned drawer limits.

Balance ATM

Support the overall sales staff. Direct sales goals may be established by management for such items as check cards, direct deposit, automated banking, or referrals for other bank products.

Participate as part of various retail product campaigns the bank initiates.

Become familiar with bank products to be able to refer customers to appropriate departments within the financial institution.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a bank teller or in a similar customer service role is a requirement

Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Proficiency in using banking software and tools.

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Problem solving skills to quickly respond to customer needs and find a solution.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening.
