iOS Developer
ATEC is seeking an iOS Developer to provide Engineering support for the development of mobile applications for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). The FAA recently deployed Apple iPhones to 1000s of Airway Transportation System Specialist (ATSS) who maintain and perform corrective maintenance on NAS facilities. ATSS personnel are required by policy to record their maintenance activities in the form of log records using legacy client-based applications. To vastly improve efficiencies, The RMLS Software Team requires a Computer Scientist to provide Second Level Engineering support for the development of mobile applications to replace the RMLS legacy client-based applications currently used with RMLS.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Knowledge of procedural requirements, real-time design and development, testing and interface of software and computer hardware systems.
Knowledge and experience in software development and test under Agile methodology.
Develop new mobile technology and modify the structure of existing software products to ensure the legacy applications remain functionally compatible with new products deployed in a phased approach.
Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings.
Report issues, problems and recommended solutions.
Performs other related duties in line with tasks assignments.

Excellent experience with C# and .NET
Strong knowledge of React Native
JavaScript programming
AJAX and Web Services
Oracle developer experience (PLSQL skills)
Ability to develop software applications using Agile methodology
Ability to multitask development efforts
Knowledge and experience developing applications in an Oracle/SQL environment
Excellent writing and verbal skills
Excellent customer relations skills

EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twelve (12) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field
OR
Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and nine (9) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Works indoors in office conditions primarily sitting/standing for prolonged periods

PAY RANGE:
$80,000 - $92,000
