Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), Friday–Sunday, Block Schedule
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills & Requirements:
Perform MRI imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations, focusing on neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal cases.
Handle imaging of oncology, stroke, and trauma patients, including all implants.
Scan using Siemens MRI equipment; must have prior experience with Siemens systems.
Perform special imaging procedures including:
CINE (CSF flow studies)
Diffusion (non-brain)
Gradient Echo Imaging
Image post-processing (Client mapping, subtraction)
Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP)
Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP)
Perfusion
Peripheral Magnetic Resonance Angiography (Iliac, runoff)
Spectroscopy
Spin Echo Images
Surface Coils
T1 & T2 Weighted Imaging
Imaging areas include: Abdomen, Female & Male Pelvis, Brain, Face/Neck, Spine (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar), Chest, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Shoulder.
Prepare and/or administer contrast media; start peripheral IVs.
Additional responsibilities include performing EKGs and using PACS systems for image management.
Participate in interdisciplinary patient care as needed; support adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Required Skills/Certifications/Experience:
Minimum 2 years MRI experience.
ARRT Certification (MRI) required.
BLS Certification required.
Ohio state license (active or pending acceptable).
Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care settings preferred.
Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems and PACS.
Ability to work weekends; 40-hour week.
Ability to handle high daily caseload (35–40 patients/day).
Must complete fingerprinting process for Ohio compliance prior to start.
