Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist experienced with Siemens scanners and certified in AART CT, BLS, and state licensure.
Responsibilities
Work in an adult outpatient CT unit
Perform scans on extremities, abdomen, chest, head/neck, and spine
Operate Siemens CT scanner systems
IV starts and contrast administration required
Schedule is five 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
May float to different units within the organization as needed
Position requires flexibility to float across multiple units as needed
Holiday shift coverage is expected as needed
Professional scrubs may be required per departmental policy
No mandatory break between assignments for this specialty
Requirements
Current AART CT certification
Current BLS certification
Valid state radiologic technologist license required if applicable
Experience with Siemens CT equipment required
Proficiency in starting IVs and administering contrast
Prior experience with adult outpatient imaging
Experience performing x-ray procedures on extremities, abdomen, chest, head/neck, and spine
