Introduction

Step into a meaningful, in-demand role as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care, with a fulfilling assignment in Springfield, Vermont. This opportunity is designed for compassionate clinicians who thrive on building trust, delivering patient-centered care, and supporting residents to live with dignity and comfort. Starting on 12/30/2025, you’ll embark on a weeks-long engagement that offers not only competitive compensation and reliable hours but also a clear path for professional growth within a nationwide network devoted to geriatric excellence. Imagine the difference you can make as you nurture independence, ease daily challenges, and collaborate with a skilled team dedicated to superior LTC outcomes. Vermont’s scenic beauty accompanies your day-to-day work— verdant hills, tranquil lakes, and a lively small-town atmosphere that invites after-work strolls along historic streets, farmers’ markets, and seasonal gatherings. The state’s landscape is equally matched by its serene quality of life, from the Green Mountains to beloved local towns, offering weekends filled with outdoor adventures and opportunities to reconnect with what matters most.

Location Benefits

Working in Springfield, VT places you in a community that values care, connection, and balance. Springfield offers easy access to Vermont’s natural wonders, including scenic drives through rolling countryside, crisp autumn foliage, and nearby trails for hiking and outdoor exploration after shifts. You’ll be part of a supportive local healthcare network that prioritizes patient well-being, staff development, and collaborative care. In addition to the immediate locale, this program presents the possibility of assignments across the United States, enabling you to broaden your clinical perspectives, experience diverse care settings, and build a versatile portfolio. You’ll enjoy stable, guaranteed 40-hour weeks with predictable pay, while benefiting from housing assistance that reduces relocation worries and helps you settle quickly. The opportunity to explore multiple communities allows you to experience different cultural environments, regional approaches to LTC, and new professional challenges—whether you’re drawn to scenic mountain towns, coastal retreats, or bustling urban centers. Vermont itself invites you to savor a higher quality of life while you advance your nursing career.

Role Specifics and Benefits

As a Long-Term Care LPN, you’ll contribute to comprehensive resident care under the guidance of RNs and the broader care team. Key responsibilities typically include: administering prescribed medications and treatments within scope, monitoring vital signs and changing conditions, assisting residents with activities of daily living, implementing and updating individualized care plans, performing routine skilled nursing tasks, wound care management, and documenting changes in residents’ conditions with accuracy and timeliness. You’ll collaborate closely with nursing staff to identify priorities, prioritize safety, and ensure smooth care transitions. The role offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth in geriatric care, including lead or charge nurse pathways, enhanced care coordination, and specialized skills such as chronic disease management, palliative care support, or rehabilitation-focused interventions. Expect a robust support network that empowers you to excel, including 24/7 travel support from our company, on-demand clinical guidance, and a responsive travel concierge to handle scheduling, housing logistics, and orientation.

Compensation and terms reinforce the value of your expertise: weekly pay ranges from 1,848 to 1,983, with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a start date of 12/30/2025. The assignment is described as weeks-long, with potential extensions based on facility needs and your performance. In addition to competitive pay, you may qualify for a signing bonus, housing assistance to ease relocation or temporary housing, and post-assignment extension opportunities that let you continue building relationships with facilities and residents you’ve come to know. We emphasize a supportive framework that prioritizes your professional development, including access to continuing education resources and mentorship from experienced LTC professionals. Throughout your travel, you’ll have 24/7 access to company support to address any clinical or logistical needs, ensuring you feel secure and capable wherever your assignments take you. The emphasis is on empowering you as a caregiver and enabling you to grow while delivering consistent, high-quality resident care.

The company is committed to fostering a workspace where nurses feel valued, respected, and heard—an environment that sustains resilience, reduces burnout, and elevates patient outcomes. Expect mentorship, peer support, and proactive leadership that champion your goals, ensuring you can deliver top-tier LTC while growing personally and professionally.
